This will be my  Destiny’s Child Destiny Fulfilled full album reaction and  review!
I will go song by song and give my thoughts on  each one and point out my favorites of which there are several.

This week I decided to share my take on the  fourth and final  album of one of the  world’s greatest girl groups of all time.
I am of course talking about Destiny’s Child and their album “Destiny Fulfilled”.
This album came out in 2004 and  is  still a jamming album  today.

I will go song by song and give my thoughts on  each one and point out my favorites of which there are several.

So this album features Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland and the Queen B herself, Beyonce.

The album starts off with  ‘Lose My Breath’ which  is a strong , fast, club banger first track.
They  seem to all hop right back into  formation on this one right out of the gate.
This song  follows  how most of the songs tend to  which is Beyonce sings  first, then Kelly on second  verse and finally Michelle singing bridge.
Then generally  Beyonce  rounding out the song with adlibs.

Lose My breath is a  good song  but  definitely not the best  this album has to offer in my  opinion.

‘Soldier’ follows up next with  several rapping  verses.
One of the rappers being T.I. who was  pretty  big at the time of  it’s release.
Soldier  isn’t as  fast as  ‘Lose My Breath’ but  Soldier is on par for all of those  looking for  a mix of  rapping and singing.
This is a fun song.

Next up is ‘Cater to U’. This was also another  single from this album and  pretty  relaxing  upon listening.
Even though the girls almost seem to be  rushing  as they  sing  along. Beyonce really seems to  shine quite a bit on  this one.
Especially,  at the end with her  basically belting out her  love for her man.

T-shirt is a slow late night  gem which most  women would enjoy  listening to  when either man is away for a little bit.
I used to love this song but it has  kind of  fallen out of my  list of favorites but still a good number.

‘Is She The Reason’ gives off this  classic 1970s vibe and is sort of  different for them.
I loved the sample they used on this one, and it really worked.
I also like how their  voices seemed to be layered  on the verses of  each individual girl.

‘Girl’ was a  single and I remember the music  video having the  ‘Sex and the City’ montage attached with it.
This was before I actually go into the show itself which is conversation for another time.
This one is one of my  favorites and sticks out to me.

‘Bad Habit’ is sung  solely by  Kelly Rowland.
I believe this number was given to her to kind of make up for the fact that  Beyonce kind of steals the  show for most  of the album.
It is actually a good song and you can kind of tell that  Kelly really feels what she is singing. It  comes of as  kind of  autobiographical.
I believe  Solange wrote this one as well. Not my  favorite but a solid number.

“If" kind of  represents a high point for this album and a real straight out ballad and not just a  slow number.
It is one of my favorites because of how each  girl contributes in their own unique way.
There were several times when I would lose  track of  who is exactly  singing. Their voices come in and out  so well.
I felt like this was a true show of  them working together to sound   like a group  than  just a vocal showdown. This falls in my top 3  for sure!!!

The  next number is  ‘Free’. This song  is MY JAM I must say!
I like the  kind of  old school  vibe and  tropical feels it gives off.
Beyonce really seems to  own this particular performance and  shows that her vocals can be  quite versatile when they need to be.
It  fun and  very inspiring to say the least

‘Through with Love’ talks of how a person is done with a bad relationship.
It  goes into detail about different ways a romantic partner has dampened the spirit of a significant other.
I like the overall concept and feel of the song.
There are obviously women and men who have gone through toxic relationships like this and  are ready to come out of it.
The ending to me feels little forced at times to me. The first I heard I was like this  feels like an odd shift. Then I got comforable with it. Now I kind of feel like maybe they were trying to do too much on one song.

The  last album song is ‘Love’.
This is a very  calming and soothing number.
It speaks of  finding a good romantic partner and being appreciative of  them.
This is especially true after trials and tribulations of the bad ones before.

‘Game Over’ is a bonus track and   gives a  super old school vibe to it.
It seems to come off as a cooler  version of the   previous song.

So after listening to the whole album what would I give Destiny’s Child Destiny Fulfilled album?
I  actually would give this album an “A” for overall production, vocals, and songwriting.
There were several songs I would actually repeat from this multiple times.

It was a  nice  journey  down memory lane listening to this album.
This really is classic to me and I  will find myself coming back to it in the future for sure!

This  has been my  Destiny’s Child Destiny Fulfilled full album reaction and  review.
I hope you found it  enjoyable and will give this album a  try for yourself!
